POSH Awareness Session at Radhika Hospital with TISHHA Consultants LLP
Radhika Superspeciality & Advanced Trauma Centre, Bareilly, in association with TISHHA Consultants LLP, organized an awareness program on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, 2013, to promote a culture of safety, respect, and equality at the workplace. The session was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Namrata Rathore (Executive Director, Radhika Hospital), along with Dr. Anchal Sharma, Dr. Ritika Shrivastava, and Dr. Ruchi Hitesh Pujara. The interactive workshop was led by Mrs. Komila Sharma Dhingra from TISHHA Consultants LLP and witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 30 women employees and staff nurses of the hospital. Representing the TISHHA team were Renjith T.R., Saksham Sharma, Tanisha Gupta, Vishal Gangwar, and Milind Kumar, who contributed to making the session engaging and informative.
Adding a creative dimension to the awareness drive, artists from Bhawani Theatre performed a short, thought-provoking play that highlighted the key aspects of the POSH Act. The play was written and directed by Sadiq Husain, with lyrics and narration by Pappu Verma. The talented cast included Rahul (Nahid Beg), Reema (Atiba), Neha (Sony), and Sonam (Sonam Morya), while Shabab managed the stage design and settings. The performance received appreciation from participants for effectively conveying serious workplace issues through art and storytelling.
The session focused on spreading awareness about the POSH Act, 2013, which safeguards women against sexual harassment at the workplace and ensures their right to a safe, secure, and dignified environment. It also outlined key employer responsibilities such as the formation of Internal Complaints Committees (ICC) in organizations with ten or more employees, the establishment of Local Complaints Committees (LCC) at the district level, conducting regular awareness programs for all employees, ensuring confidentiality and fair investigation in reported cases, and reporting of POSH compliance in annual reports.
Through this initiative, TISHHA Consultants LLP and Radhika Superspeciality & Advanced Trauma Centre reaffirmed their commitment to promoting gender equality, empowering women, and cultivating a respectful and inclusive workplace. Radhika Hospital continues to support such educational and awareness-driven programs to ensure that every member of its team feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute their best to the organization.
